Testimonials from 2015 EdCampWF participants:
"I absolutely loved the positive environment that allowed educators to openly share apps, techniques, and questions. This was the first professional development opportunity that I had been to where teachers were overall energize and excited, not overwhelmed and pessimistic, about what they were learning about."
"I loved that we created the sessions. I loved the fact that if we didn't like a session, no one was bothered by us leaving and finding a different session. It was very upbeat and exciting. The staff, facility, food, and prizes were fantastic. I would go again and recommend it to my co-workers!"
"I loved the fact the we got to learn what we wanted to know and were able to determine the choices. I learned how to use Twitter in depth. I talked to another science teacher about setting up a flipped classroom and other important classroom issues pertinent to science. I saw some interesting uses for Google apps. It was all great."
I thought this was a great way to get the school year started. I loved the collaboration with teachers from other schools that taught my subject. Great motivation for this school year!
"I really loved the collaborative atmosphere at EdCampWF. It was great meeting a variety of teachers of whom I might be able to collaborate or bounce ideas off of."
"So happy it was FREE! I also enjoyed being able to discuss with teachers from different districts and getting new ideas. Glad it was in the summer before school started and I LOVED THE PRIZES!"
Sponsorship Opportunities
The EdCampWF Team offers our deepest gratitude to those that made donations in 2015. Sponsorships allow our event to remain FREE for all participants as donations cover the expense of breakfast, lunch and door prizes for those in attendance. We are once again seeking out donations from our local business community and would greatly appreciate any support for 2016. To make a donation, please contact Dr. Greg Goins at (618) 937-2421 or via email at [email protected].
